Lower Resist for Bonemancer?(Maybe stupid)

As stated, this may be stupid, but the lower resist curse says "curses an enemy to take more damage from magical attack." Does this work with bone spear and spirit? I've never seen it used in any guide I've read. If it does I may get brain cancer from not knowing all this time (2+ years). Please answer, a simple yes/no would suffice.

It used to, in the old days of D2 1.00 to 1.06. But not anymore :p

magic immunes are pretty rare outside of a2 with the exception of superuniques

Imagine if this did increase bone spear and spirit damage?
