View Full Version : Why not charge with Templar?

Just wondering why I havent seen anyone discuss using grief charge as a secondary skill with a pvp Templar as is used in a Liberator build. I know smite is the common wisdom but its sure a lot easier to hit a caster with vigor charge than smite. I guess it could look like this:
20 foh
20 holy shock
20 charge
enough conviction
1 holy shield
rest into vigor or might

gear:
Griffons- facet
grief
hoz-facet
maras
bk's or sojs
coh or enigma
trangs (dracs?) and spider
I know ar could be an issue but if charging with conv on it lowers defence and anyway charge would be used as a back up to foh for people who stacked sorb and thus have probably lowered their defence/dr/blocking.. Am I way off here?

I posted this on another forum and the answer was that yes, it can be used but you will not beat well prepared melee chars with good resists and hi defence.
Liberators have 9k hammers for them but foh is less effective than hammers. On the other hand smite does real well against melee..
