Grim reaper necro?

I was wondering, does anyone here have any ideas for a non-serious, just-for-fun melee necro that uses a form of sythe and possibly grim helm? I'm trying to make a necro themed around the grim reaper(just the appearence), and I know as I type this that it wouldnt be great, and that there are much better forms of meleemancers, but even still I would appreciate any suggestions you guys have. I guess it would be like a summoner, using skellies and amp and other various curses. Bone armor and synergies? Yes? No? Im not sure exactly sure what weapons I would use, something with high attack rating? (I can get my hands on anything I need, hmm botd sythe? lol) Any and all comments are appreciated, just remember that this is just a fun build. Btw if theres already a thread about this or a guide(didnt see one), could someone please show me?

I would use Grim's Burning Dead (http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/exceptional/upolearms.shtml) as the main weapon...for the best polearm stats on a Unique. Or The Reapers Toll (http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/elite/upolearms.shtml) for the "scythe" look. Actually, the Reaper's Toll has pretty tight stats by itself...you could go with that too and just not have the +3 Necro skills that you get with Burning Dead.

I bet you would still need arm king leoric on switch. I would say make sure you have enough resist.

I did had a summoner put on full trang with akl before, on switch it was the burning thingie. but resist was too low and it died often.

meleemancers are tough to play, i d say if you re serious about looks you can run vamp gaze helm and ethereal reapers toll w/zod.

On a summoner on my old account, I used a Delirium Bone Visage and a Pride Thresher. Easy enough!
