View Full Version : How to get out of a charge-lock?

I find on a lot of my hardcore characters, I can't get out of a charge-lock. Essentially, once a charger name-locks me, I keep running, and the swing from charge keeps missing, but you get that knockback effect and he keeps charging you while you keep running. Eventually, because of lag/desynch, he hits you and you die.

Anyway to get out of this?

I dont think theres a way.. tho
You could have a block shield on switch :O


I think the charge will turn in to a slow regular attack when you block it
this could do well if the opponent has a very slow weapon ( as 2h's usually )

You can run very fast, away from the charger. Or, if you can teleport, you tele across a wall/ building, etc.

You need a lot of faster hit recovery (fhr) to get out of a good charge. Using certain skills will aid you in gettin outta charge attacks (for ex: a barb can ww out). If you position yourself in front of a wall and they kb u into a wall, the next charge in the series should fail too. Best bet is gettin super high fhr tho.

I guess in a sense you could call this charge lock, but the term "charge lock" typically refers to a glitch that happens when you lose the charge skill temporarily because of a problem w/ the game files. This is fixed by leaving and coming back to a game.
