I've recently created a PvP Bonemancer after a long absence from Diablo II. After coming back to the pub duels I noticed that the dueling experience is now significantly less enjoyable due to an increase of bad mannered players and flamers.. what do you guys consider bad manners for a necro player? Also how do you deal with Barbarians using a lifetap wand for healing on the act1 monsters? (yes..i know its bad manners..is there any bad manner tactics we can use to counter this?)
If he life taps the monsters, override his life tap w/ iron maiden:flip:.

maybe my Iron Maiden isnt strong enough..its level 14 i think..HIS overrides mine
I think the point isn't which curse is the stronger, but if you cast iron maiden on monsters with lifetap, the lifetap curse will be replaced with the iron maiden. To get lifetap back, he will have to switch back to his wand and recast it. Meanwhile, you can whack him.
go to the player match up forum, sign in with our gm etf forum thread.
hang out in channel: Op etf-duels
nn to worry about that again :D
If you can find a buddy to duel with (like here on the forums, I guarantee that you'll have a much better time.

yeah, pub duels are for the most part pretty stupid. I once had a dumbass blizz sorc sit and cast it on the town killing anyone whom walked out. Then I just ran and tele'd into her with my 35 summons and killed her instantly. Be amazed to see how godly townguarding is with a summoner...

Insta-killing townguarders is lame.
I always put on two ravenfrosts, and stand in the middle of the falling snow and let them cast what they want. 40%abs, 75%res and 7,5k life on a wolf druid is hard for maxed out blizzsorcs too. After like 5-10 seconds, I eat them.
Its funnier, and often accompanied by 'lols' from the audience (the nk:d)
lol...lord 7.5 k life....
yeah that should do it...
i dunno...i think NK is pretty BM...
not sure what is considered BM for Necs....maybe Bprison? or Revives (12-20 gloams? or even maulers for stun and kckbck =P)

there was the ultimate bm player in a duel game the other day. he was town guarding, nking, you name it. when all the players complained about bad manner he responded with,
"Why are manners required for a game?"
sorry, but that is probably the most demoralizing thing anyone has ever said to me on D2. my how this game has changed over the years -_-
It's ann internet cultural phenomenon. You'll find it in almost every game save those with very vigilant Moderators or ethical powerplayers.
There were once 2 trappers in a pub game. They nked all day long. But when they got killed and nked. Suddenly it was nooby to nk. The Noobius In Battlenettius species seem to forget what they did 2 seconds ago. Quite fascinating...
I actually ended up killing one with my cta/spirit. He wasnt even without stuff. This was with wolf.

Pick up 20 gloams and have merc with infinity. Or perhaps get those poisonvipers from nihlataks temple along with amp damage. Damn people would start cry...
