Rate my Smiter.

this is my first smiter and i would like to know what gear i should keep/switch. thank you in advance.


Helm: Shako(or?).
Ammy: Maras(or?)
Ring: Bk 5%
Ring: Bk 5%
Boots: Gore(or?).
Weapon: Hoto(or?).
Shield: Etheral Exile Vortex Shield.
Armor: Fortitude Archon Plate.
Gloves: Dracs(or?).
Belt: Arachnid/nosferatus/Verdungo's Hearty Cord
Secondary weap: Call to Arms Flail 6 bo.


this is the gear i have and want to use but if you guys have any recomendations on what i should use or switch there, please help me.

Feel free to use the search function and read the gazillion other threads on smiters. There usually is some valid information in them.

PVP or PVM?

Weapon choices: Grief, LW, Redeemer, Astereon's, Heaven's light, among others - they are better than HoTo

Can't answer the rest without the knowledge of what you want to do with him - PVP or PVM

Regardless all melee characters should have CBF get rid of one of the BKs and opt for a Raven.

with 333 stats remaining and im lvl 75

Ammy: Maras(or?) - this is fine, Highlord's is decent too
Ring: Bk 5% - Ravenfrost
Ring: Bk 5% - fine
Boots: Gore(or?). - fine
Weapon: Hoto(or?). - Grief is optimal, other weapons are fine too
Shield: Etheral Exile Vortex Shield. - fine or Up'd Hoz or even Elite Spirit
Armor: Fortitude Archon Plate. - fine
Gloves: Dracs(or?). - fine
Belt: Arachnid/nosferatus/Verdungo's Hearty Cord - Verd is probably the most suited here. TGods is also useful
Secondary weap: Call to Arms Flail 6 bo. - fine

Well if you have maxed Holy Shield why not put enough into Dex to acquire max block - shouldn't be too painful with a raven, torch and anni.

Make sure you have enough str for your gear (torch+anni can be factored in here)

Everything else into vit

all my gear is on i havent used any of my stats other than enough to get my gear on i got 333 left.

Blocking is capped at 75%

Dex for 75% blocking = 15 + (150 * clvl / TotalBlock) rounded up

TotalBlock = the % block from the shield, plus any bonuses from armors (eg Guardian Angel) and Holy Shield.

Vortex = 51% Block

Level 25 Holy shield = 36% Blocking

x = 15 + (150 * 75 / 51 + 36)

x = 145 dex about at level 75

Therefore you need 145 dex (with plus) at level 75 to hit the max block - capped at 75%

Do the math with your stats to make sure I'm a little tired.

i suggest you put more points in vitality..if you're gonna go to ubers you'll need life..:Dand good resists..i suggest for ubers Last Wish if you are rich or Grief if you are less rich...:Dbut sorry for ot:if you are on the europe realm and you want to sell that exile ..i am very interested.:D:Di couldn't stop myself asking
