What build do you think would be best for getting people killed by an LE monster? I was thinking a Double Throw Barbarian would work well. An Assassin also looks like a good choice for Fade. The best place to start hurling would probably be Travincal. It's always funny to watch people die to an LE monster.

Something that attacks quick with little damage, you don't want to kill the monster.

So do like a claw/claw sin with every point in Burst of Speed and make sure you have lots of AR so you can always hit the monster.

Most important don't wear any leech life or lightning resists and have no potions in your belt.

If you're going to try and PK someone atleast have the cajones to hostile them, you're as bad as a TPPKer in my opinion.

I don't see anything wrong with what I asked. My character could still die, and people still have a chance to run away. There is nothing stopping them from running back to town and hostiling me themselves, either.

Its wrong on so many levels!

Its also a stupid idea, how often do you think you will be able to sucker someone into going near a LE monster? Once with Rakanishu, maybe once or twice in Trist games. At this point you wont have any resists yourself, and you wont even have any of your skills to use yet.

So then what? You will lure people into thinking you are rushing them? They wont be running ahead and attacking LE's if they are being rushed, they will be standing behind you.

LE's aren't very dangerous after rakinishu really.

LE alone isn't dangerous enough for this concept to be particularly interesting or even worth a thread discussion. You'd have to go around finding LE plus something like CE or FE (or both). Thats just far too tedious for the (lame) reward if you ask me.

Can't say I condone this, it reminds me of convertadins flashing thorns back in the day, using the monster to kill allied party members.

To answer the question, LE monsters just won't work very well for this. Rak is really the only dangerous one, and its pretty easy to avoid the bolts.

My advice (though I don't in any way condone this, just hypothetically speaking of course) would be to use FE monsters in nm. It'd be a lot of trouble to set it up, but basically if someone is getting beat on by/in close proxemity to a FE monster, kill the monster quickly and there's a chance they will die in the blast.

Not sure if it would work, or if theres a penalty involved, but Slow Missiles always makes me smile, just to have a room light up with slow moving sparks of death, plus doing the slow missiles dance with disfigured lightning balls/Burning dead arrows, is always fun. Helps to spice things up a bit.

Stupid idea, but the best way to do it, would be a singer barb. Stunning monsters does very little damage to them, with 105% fcr you do it very fast and you have lots of hitpoints yourself.
