Nope. The point is you enter public games and guess what? Hammerdins, smiters, sorces, trappers, BvC's, BvB's, javazons, and bowazons all outnumber wolfs by at least 10 times each, but quite possibly 100 times. You are crying about nothing. There is no real "hype." Good wolf players are far and few. This forum happens to be where we all come together.
Come on y'all...he just wanted to start a flog blog thread and was successful...tha and increase his post #'s.
either that or he just got beat by a wolfie and is peeved.

Smiters are why I made my Fury Druid. Beat the crap out of them before they can get within range. Then watch the smiter run to Akara.
Makes me want to re-equip him.

i've been playing wolfs when u were still drooling over ur hammerdin/bvc/trapsin, so stop yapping
it used to be a class for a certain 'type' of players and now it seems any random tool that used to use hammerdins/bvc barbs wants to make a wolf and desecrate the name of a fury druid
yeah im just frustrated, thanks to major itamlamers claiming wolfs pwn all.

some people in here like wolfs an they see this forum as a chill-out place. you aren't the only veteran druid in here, when the expansion came out i start playing my druid, that is why he has (according to some people ) "itemlame" equipment. There are getting more and more fury druids yup that's true. I see this as a good thing, more and more people start to realize hopw fun a shaper can be and also how good. i don't see how you can be frustrated abouyt this if you are a wolf player :laugh:

I enjoy being a bear player...because they aren't as popular as the wolf or elemental druid...but since I've been around Kiba/Puma/I&D (now that he has his isp back up) and Kiba's sister (all wolf players) I've been encouraged by them to make a wolf...which I did.
Although my bear is my favorite and has been for many patches...how can you not like a wolf that when is standing still looks like a crack addict shaking or when walking looks like it's been through brokeback mountain.
What else are druid player going to post in the druid forum? There's not many bear players...and with the exception of the few elemental and equipment questions...most people are wolf players. So naturally there's going to be alot of wolf posts around.
It's not like you see very many :"rate my pally" "rate my hammerdin" "rate my smiter" like you do on the pally forum here on the druid forum. It's like what MM and garbad would say...if you don't like a thread then don't post in it.
Since I've been coming here (and under 3 different names due to the forums changing servers through the years) The main druid build has always been the wolf and has always been widely talked about and bragged about...so why would now be any different by newer people that have decided to carry the wolf torch from when Garbad and Mepersoner and many others would do the same.

I made one cause Stout's sounded awesome.
I made my own version, a BvA-like Wolf that could adapt to any situation.
Yet, my goal has been to make a 10k+ life beast, so I'm now trying the Vita build, with less Rabies and more of a melee tanking base.
Wolves are just freaking fun, end of story. It's good that more people are playing wolves...that means less Hammerdins.
I actually wanted to make a wolf, but kiba is scaring me ;/

Damn, I was gona make a wolf, but now I cant since they are so overdone. Guess I'll just make a slightly less used smiter. But Newayz, isnt wolf what makes druid a unique class, otherwise they would use elemental skillz (like a sorc) or summon things (like a necro). If you play pallys, how can you even complain about people overplaying them (wolfs). When I came back last month, I thought 1.11 had erased all other characters except pally's and sorcs. My only beef is that the more people play wolfs, the more expensive their gear will be:sad2:

Seems there's yet another pally out there that doesn't like wolf players as well...some smiter chump with the account of: JoE[SfE] maybe they can get together and make a he-man-woman-haters-club like the did on the little rascels...only with a bowlegged twist to it.
Although this guy goes into a talking trash about your momma thing every time he dies...and is always someone else's fault...but when other people die it's funny to him. But he didn't want to because Kiba food...while talking out of his butt about wolf players in general.

Just a reminder to tone down the language. We don't need the use of profanity to get a point across.
The wolf howl is more of a symbol then wanting to look stupid. From what I understand the wolf players are using it to express the loyalty to that specific character. Same thing applies when a paladin says he owns simply because he is a paladin. :badteeth:
As to your last point. I'm guessing you haven't seen any of the posted pictures in the other threads clearly showing that druids can stand up to even the almighty smiter.
What I'm trying to get at is... Stop swearing, quit flaming the wolf howl, and get off your paladin high-horse.

They are there because when I looked up the thread I was like nooo how could some one do such a thing. I dont go to another classes forum room and post a thread to tell the people in that freaquent that forum that they should stop enjoying that class. I have joked about it privtely amoung friends. But still I would not and will not do that kind of thing. If jordy wanted to go into a paladin, barbarian, or any other forum and started posting there about how well that class did vers a druid or werewolf then fine roll with it.
Also baranor who said anything about vetern players, Stoute? Ya he opened his big mouth. I honestly dont blame him he has the right to be a little upset. But still
isnt this just about people who enjoy a certern build defending theyre right to say I enjoy this build?

Don't get me wrong I also enjoy the fact that this forum room is a nice friendly place. Where people can come in and talk about how to make a build thats from the class druid. I have at time teased other builds. But I do not remaber teasing some one about that build in this forum room.
But if it bothers you that we are simply defending our right to say we enjoy this build. Then I say delete this tread. I will even ask a mod to come in and delete it for us. Just give me the word. Or you could do it your self. But all I ask is that you post saying that as well.

i was just a lil bit pissed cause of some serious personal reasons, sorry for that. I just couldn't take this on top of it. :undecided:
A friend of me and a player in our basketballteam commited suicide. Nobody knows why he did it and he was the last person that would do it i thought. He hung hisself in the little barn at his dad and the only thing he left were a bunch of poems and stories he wrote dating from a year ago untill some days ago. :cry:
i know this isn't a reason to start spamming but i was (and still am) quite upset because of this.
I know how it feels dude... I came back to this place to find some relief from real life... my father in law is sick. He won't die, but he won't get cured either.
