Hi,

I am building a ranger with holy freeze (fully synergised) as my main attack. For secondary aura, I am going to use fanatacism (especially for party use). As this would leave me with lots of extra skill points, I was thinking of using sanctuary as I've never done this before. I don't want to use holy shock/holy fire as the other attack. This is a purely experimental build, so I'm not too bothered if it's a disaster.

If anyone has thoughts or suggestions, please let me know.

I think sanctuary is quite useless, I would get a scepter with +1 redemption instead and put it on swith to fill life/mana quickly and I would max blessed aim for 20% extra AR...

Having looked at the stats I agree about sanctuary, I'll definitely go for that +1 redemption scepter idea. Cheers :wink3:

Well, redemption scepter on switch is not as a good idea as it seems. You will need two different bows for use with Fanat/Holy Freeze, thus, your switch will be already taken. (the idea is to have an Ultra-Fast bow for HF, possibly with cold damage modifiers like Wizendraw, hell, even facets help, and a solid DPS bow for Fanat, like Windforce) Also, keep in mind that you won't have that many "extra skillpoints" because you will already have 85+ used up after you max Holy Freeze, its synergies, and Fanat. And the last, but not least, with Holy Freeze alone you will have 0 (zero, nada) attack rating modifiers, so I heavily suggest maxing Blessed Aim for 100% (not 20%) attack rating increase. That equals more than 100 points total, so you're not that free on SP, are you? ;)

why not use a A2 B/A merc that way u get AR and you free up some sp's for the lil 1 point wonders and stuff, though sanctuary is cool it doesnt have much real affect .
