View Full Version : lvl 49 pvp druid armor?

heylo all

im going to start making a new fury druid soon but i cant decide which armor would be best to use...shaft, duriels or duress? my other equip looks to be oath, sanctuary, tgods, angelics, bloodfists nd gores.
duress seems good for the fhr, ow, ok res and cold dmg. shaft for the dr nd life. duriels for the str, res, cbf(so i can use 2 angelics) and life.

help pls

I would use shaft for melee and guardian angel for elemental.

If, however, you can't get the important resist(s) up close to 90% with GA on, you might as well use 'Duress'. 'Duress' could also be useful against Cold Sorcs where the increased maximum res from GA is really moot after factoring in their Cold Mastery.

I personally use Lionheart. The stats it gives are nice for the lvl :)

peace runeword - at your level highlords is not accessible so getting critical strike from here is the way to go. it adds much more damage than any other armor at that level.

yeah but you need alot of + skills to get it high. where do you get that from?

Go for a Big life Max Dmg armor. Maybe Shaft witha maxer (good dr/life/dmg). Duress is also a great/cheap alturnative.

Just remember, dont choose an armor for the def, a wolf wont get good def either way.

changed my mind. use shaft. since you cant use storm you need the dr from it. and yeah stick 24 max dmg jewel in it.

oh and use a shaeled whistans to. awesome shield. :thumbsup:

I'd assume he would use some sort of Oath wep, since imo that gives the highest physical output dmg for a lvl 49 character.

i was gunna use an oath naga which i think seems to be the best low req ok dmg wpn and a polearm of some sort on switch, still havent decided what tho.

im still undecided on the armour but thx for ur help peeps :)

Peace is definately the way to go.
Many LLD's think of it as BM, because it is too powerful, but most won't complain about it.

Ill look into using peace then. Ill prob try out all the armours if i can to see which i prefer, i just wanted some advice on any i shouldnt use at all.

Also im struggling to find a longer range weapon to use on switch, i was thinking of maybe an honor partizan or ancient axe? but the dmg would be rather low. any other suggestions would be apprecitaed thx :)

a war scythe with ed/ias or max/ias.

Yea, find a 15% (or close to it) sup war scythe and load it up with the highest ed/ias jewels you can manage (maybe even some nice rare jewels with juicy bonuses)
