How good is Delirium?

I been running countess out the wazoo with my sorc and have a boatload of runes now, nothing too high, couple ist lem ko fals highest i've gotten but gotten 2-3 of em each, not too mention a ton of lower ones. I hate trading, always get 4 people joining spamming in caps WUW, I GOT THIS and all kinds of other annoying things.
So I was looking at some words I could make, and have enough to make it, just wondering if it's any good, +2 skills is nice on my barb, using IK helm atm :( Wondering if it was worth it to make. I need to start getting rid of these runes, my whole stash is filled with em.
Any thoughts would be great, thanks in advance.

Would that be good for my Frenzy barb with HF merc? No clue if that's a dumb question, which is why I'm asking it :)
Barbs 80atm, he can solo pretty much everything, still have a little trouble with Chaos Sanc, and parts of Act 5. Stuff still seems pretty difficult and my weapons well they suck atm, well for my lvl they do, Nords Tenderizer and Butcher's Pupil, since I don't really trade I'm kinda stuck finding the stuff for myself.

Also if I threw it into a socket Fury Visor with an inherant +3 to a skill would it keep that skill or does that roll it away? Say would I have the Delerium stats and the +3?

Say would I have the Delerium stats and the +3?The automods on the barb helm will stay after you stick Delirium in it. So if you make it in a +2 Battle Orders helm, the +2 BO will stay, and you'll get the Delirium bonuses on top of that.

I recommend u to buy Arreat's. It's just the best helm for meelee barb (cheap and Great). U can get good arreat's for pul, instead of losing Ist+ by making Delirium.

That would save ur runes, so u could invest to ur weapons. Oath is still very usefull runeword and it's not that expensive (mal+pul). In eth weapon, it will add nice dmg. Ofcourse u can use other weapons if u don't like this1. :azn:

maybe hold on to the ists since they are legit and you know for sure they wont poof.

you remind me of those single player guys that manage to beat the game using just the items that they find. (you know, the way blizzard intended it.)

I would be hesitant to use Delerium on a melee character, as they get hit frequently, which in turn would trigger the morphing into the little bone fetish dude. It wouldn't be the end of the world, but you can only use normal attack while morphed, which would get old. Now, Delerium on a strafer, that's a different story. 'Zons shouldn't get hit at all as a general rule of thumb, and the crowd control would be excellent.
