hey ppl, i need some help now

i have installed LOD and updated it, but my friedns just have classic, and i dont wanna unisntall LOD cause i wanna play it single... and my friends want a tcp/ip playing with diablo II classic....


is tehre a way in wich i could install diablo II classic again? i needa do it please

If you are running same patch, then I'd assume you should be able to play with eachother as long as you (Kairek) make a classic char for the game (unmark the expansion box when creating the char).

nope not same version... that is why i asked is i could somwhow install diablo ii classic again xD

never said "version", said "patch" :smiley: Download the latest patch for the original on your friends computer, that way you can play "1.11" on both computers, despite that your friend doesn't have lod.

Hope it'll help, otherwise there's also a version switcher in one of the stickies on the single player forum iirc. Never tried it so can't help there sadly.

Edit: found the version switcher for you in case you'll try it. Find it here (http://atma.diabloii.net/spf/), the "TrenShadow" file.

imma add ya to msn cuz i need a simplified explanation and i dont wanna use forums, i mean, its mroe confortable for meh to use msn

There's an easy fix if your friends don't mind upgrading theirs to the current version of d2 classic. Just have them hit the battle.net button when they run d2. That will automatically bring them up to the current patch/version. If they want to stay at an older version, you gotta check out that version switcher thingy mentioned before.
