Hey I understand that a unique spawns in a game only if noone has that unique on them.

How about if we have a unique from a previous patch with different stats? Will the newer version of the unique spawn?

Not sure what 'cha mean. I've found unique items that I have on my char at the time. I found a 189 HOZ while using a 179 to get the drop.

I think you misunderstood something, understandably. I hear so much conflicting info myself. I'm not 100% but I think only one unique item of each type can drop during a single game. Irregardless of whether or not your using that same item.

I believe this was in version 1.07 (or 06, can't remember which), and earlier. For pretty much the entire length of LoD, uniques have been able to spawn regardless of whether or not that unique is in the game already, it just can't spawn if you've already spawned that unique in that game. So a mfing hammerdin can find a hoz even if he's wearing one, but he can't find two hoz in the same game.

well, yeah, the proof is that you can get a second gheed's charm when you already have one

lol oops must be me and the old stuff I look at. I've been playing 1.06 to take advantage of the gambling option so I think thats why I've thought that.
