Lets say.
Id want a dueler in nonladder.. and i got sojs

( Im not too sure about nonladder economy )
But ive heard that nonlad has lots of dupe sojs.. and therefore they are worthless

Would it be wiser to trade the items for it ( the dueler ) now while were still on ladder?

Or could i buy some gosu dupes from nonladder?

SO: Would nonladder or ladder give me better rares for.. lets say 5 sojs

on no-ladder europe many people who duel use duped items, which often cost 1soj +"add" (which means some nice item, or a duped ring, Im not sure, but I think you get 2or4 for 1 soj)

it also depends on what duped items do you want
for example a 185max dmg battlehammer costs 3sojs (dupe)
246max exec (+2skills, pskull) costs 1
244 defense helmet PR, res, minimum damage 1+add
237exec (not sure bout the exact damage, +2 cold damage) - 7sojs
888pr ornate (-req?) 1soj
95 defense gloves with str/dex 1soj+add?
6belt (str, life cold damage) - not sure

as for battle hammers - Im not sure
I think there is a duped sorc amu "boneclasp" - with +2 10fcr and 16-24 res
which is 0,8-1 soj
341 pike -1soj??? not really sure (2-3?)

generally the main supplied of dupes dissapeared methinks and there is inflation in europe

it depends on the class you will build
weapons - are quite good here

I dont really trade the dupes, so Im not sure
in addition I dont know the ladder prices

I think Warlock can provide you with more information, since he plays both ladder and no-ladder, I dont trade such items

I do not play on Europe but on East it would all depend on what items you are looking for in specific and what kind of duler you're going to build. Though for the most part I would go to Non-ladder just because in order to compete against those in pubbies with the Duped items you will need duped items.

There are many items on ladder that NL hasn't even seen before. You should buy items from ladder considering they will become way overpriced once they convert.

Well some itmes like Gull and Blinkbats are worth some things, but not as much as your sojs. Itemst hat NL people would want are pretty much what Ladder people want. Some people pay a lot more to stay legit. So High Dmg Weapons can get up to a few sojs a piece. Plus since Paly skills didn't spawn until .09 I think, there are no duped pally shields that I know of, so those are a huge avenue to increase your wealth on Non-Ladder.

To be honest, I don't think trading them will matter much.
Both SoJs and rares will increase or decrease in value once they are nl.

It depends on what kind of good deals you can make on the Ladder.
If you can trade 1 SoJ for a 290 mart, you prolly have a good deal, cause you will be probably able to trade that legit 290 mart for 2 SoJs off ladder.(depending on the mods)

Once this ladder and nl merge the economy changes so drastically anyway, you can't make a proper prediction on what will be worth what.
Personally, I would just keep the SoJs. Then again, I haven't traded any of my SoJs for a very long time. :)

Blink can definately get you some nice items, depending on who you run into and if that person knows what Blink is good for.
gull = gs = silks
tarn is just below gull/gs/silks.
tarn is prolly on the level of a 45 or so ward if it's below 46 mf.
