What's with all of the Tristy runs in Normal?

Is this a really quick way to level young characters? If so, how does it work?

Yeah, pretty much if you join one at level 1, you can get to level 15 just leeching.. better off to help kill though.

If so, how does it work?Someone runs to Tristram, creates a portal, then everyone else enters. Then the party proceeds to clear out the entire area. When that's done, repeat in a new game. It's a pretty good way to go from 1-15 fairly quickly.

That's true. Better to just self-level around the Blood Moor a bit before you start Tristing.
