He's rabies/fury like you said...that uses his poison vine like it's his manhood. It is entertaining and almost comical being in these duel rooms with Kiba because of all the bragging others do before hand...only to watch as they cry and complain afterwards as they are getting their dead body.

Then you got Kiba doing his wolf howls after each victory that is very comical in it's own right.

I'll let Kiba post his equipment for ya when he finally gets in here.

The wolfie dance was totally comical...the poor barb actually believed everything that was being told to him...and it ended up going on for about 20 minutes all together during a norm rush...and all he wanted to know was where to put the stone in order to do the forge (but he didn't know about the forge period). In the end...the started saying everything that he was told to say and gave up when he was told that he said it wrong.

No unfair advantage, but sure, one who maintains a good framerate does have an advantage over one who does not. By this logic, a person with a better computer than another has an advantage, but I think everyone would consider that okay.

There whole goal is too piss people off in Duel game's by nkin potting and runnin too town too heal wich they get a kick out of.

I was in this game when the loh comes in, well you can see from the screenies how it ended up. And yes, he poor hdin was very confused as to why a wolf kept kicking his butt. Funny funny stuff.

I wonder how you would do on NL. In my experience, ladder dueling is not quite as competetive as NL. Do you plan to play NL when ladder resets, Elohim? I'd like to see your wolf in action firsthand.

I myself had a f/r in .10 until they killed the carrion bug. Haven't had the heart or the time to rebuild him...Weapon is a tad outdated too. I've moved onto other things though, which I personally find more effective.

I do bolth. I see alot more diffent builds on ladder then I see on nonladder. I find the lack of greif weapons on nonladder alittle easyer to deal with dueling wise. I find it sad that there isnt alot of zealots on nonladder any more. I havent seen a temple game in too long. I do hear about a werewolf player on nonladder but even then theyre eather really good or they blow big time.

All my s/s's are on NL, I don't play ladder. They are also effective on NL, but I have found my pure fury werewolf to be more competitive, especially against casters, because it has a lot more frw.

In my experience on west NL, the ss druids like to talk big but they rarely live up to their claims. I don't mean any disrespect to shifters, so don't take that the wrong way. I know firsthand that they can be severely underestimated (people used to underestimate mine all the time), but I have yet to be beaten soundly by any shifter that claims they can "ez" hammerdins, barbs, etc.

I'd like to duel one of these wolves, but I don't have a ladder character. I just want to see what they're doing that makes them do so well and see if they can live up to their claim.

Btw, I'm starting to level my own wolf now. This thread sort of inspired me to remake my f/r. Only thing I really lack is a Grief pb, but I guess ebotdz will have to do. It's a shame ed/85ias/Lo gris caddies are so useless now...Barely got to use mine before they patched the bug :undecided:

the melee druid community in europe is growing now, i think there are atleast 200 now, probably more :grin: , most are fury/rabies ones and about 70 fury druids/10rabies druids:laugh: . It is nice to see them alot more in pubs these days :wink3:

Imagine the amount it would cost them if dental was free to start replacing teeth at the age of 3 for the typical hockey players in canada? Labatt Blue is a fine beer...can't deny that...but I do miss those commercials with the bear and that hockey helmet beer cooler he had full of it. Seems they only show the commercials during hockey season...which is a shame.

*Just make one thing clear...this isn't a Amercian hating Canadian thing by me...just something that I've noticed when I visit my family in toronto and nova scotia. Most people seemed fanatical about their hockey and even their hockey cards for that matter...even my uncle's and father are among the fanatics.

I even remember hearing of a 88 year old man from canada that ended up dying during the hockey lockout...and he had a message written for the owners and players that his son read in a interview showing his displeasure how greedy bussiness men and players alike have robbed him of his last moments of happiness when their was no hockey season for him to enjoy before he passed on.

So when I say that hockey is the most important thing in canada...I would tend to agree with it...although beer isn't a bad thing it still doesn't compare to hockey for most canadians I've met during my visits there.

How is it that someone (like you) with a ancient compaq computer (like you have) and a crappy dialup ISP (one again like you have) is able to kill all these people while having lag issues that you have...and have complained about many times.

Sometimes im able too play on my adopted chinese sisters computer wich is way better then mine (some type of Dell pc) , that's the computer i spend most of my duel and baal run time on.

At times when i do xcomplain is because i am on my Compaq , i have Cox high speed net but the computer itself is what make's the game slow for me. Im able too handle 3 people in a game before i start running at a constant 12-17fps. Bascially i can only do game's with 5 or less peope or use trade channel's with my compaq 95.




Oh and My L337 Wolf Reflexes let me see past the lag with my compaq in Duel game's Cuz im GG.:wink3:

Go to your diablo 2 folder, and run the video test. At the end of the video test, select direct draw instead of direct 3d. next, on the main diablo 2 icon, right click it, select properties. you will find a section labeled target, after the last " hit the spacxe bar once and enter -w. this will allow your game to play in windowed mode.
once you are in game in direct draw/windowed mode, select options and video - turn off blended shadows and any 3d effects you may use, including perspective.

never lag from having a crappy computer again.

Sure you don't get perspective mode, but it's not like that's needed anyway.

Does anyone know how to get fps up on a 1.33 ghz g4 based mac? (using ibook g4 9550 radeon 32 mb)

When I run in full screen it uses opengl, when I run windowed it uses software, but that doesn't seem to make a huge difference. I've turned off most options in the graphics menu but it still lags a bit when lots of monsters are on screen.

I'm thinking that it's just not that fast on a mac and there's not much more to do to make it go faster, unless someone has any ideas.

unless thats for a specific gear change its a poor choice.
9str/9dex = 36life even jah is 50
14life or 7 stats = 3 stats in dex to get the ar leaving 4str to get more damage than the light dam.

More then likely yah a Ed/dex will be more efficient.

None the less , so far i have been very surprised by how much more effective this rare jewel is performing over a shael rune for Melee duels.

For anyone that's interested, I did change the video settings on a mac and it seemed to help.

When clicking the diablo icon, hold down the "option" key while you click it - that will bring up a video test utility. I selected software instead of Open GL and noticed that in game the frame rates are actually up and the lag does seem less. I also have less crashes switching from window mode to full screen mode (apple key +m)

Anyway, just a little bit of information for any mac users out there with G4 macs.

Hopefully I'll get a macbookpro soon :grin:

Asia servers are funny though, ever tried to play on them? I entered a game once with a lvl1 char, and nobody seemed to talk. They ran around doing quests on their own, no teamwork whatsoever. Strange!:laugh:
