Why am I missing more with 1h weapons than with 2h?

I'm playing as a fury werewolf, I have butchers pupil/rhyme tower and bonesnap on switch. When I'm using fury on one monster the butchers works fine. But it seems like when I get crowded by enemies the butchers just keeps missing over and over. When I switch to bonesnap I hit just fine, and my attack rating is the exact same for both weapons. Can someone please explain to me what the heck the problem is?

I believe there was something about if you miss the first fury hit with a 1 handed weapon, all of the consecutive hits miss. (A bug) With 2 handed, however, this bug isn't there, and even if you miss the first hit, the other 4 still have a chance to land. I'm not sure if this is true or not but I remember reading it in another post. Someone with more experience correct me if i'm wrong.

I think its the shield and its chance to block, which stop you from attacking.

That's what I think too. when you block, maybe that interrupts you from hitting.

Thanks guys, I tried the 1 handed without the shield and the problem goes away, so I'll be restarting the char with 2 handed.

2 handed is definately preferred in PvM. Who needs a shield in pvM anyways? ;-)
