Does IK helm always come socketed?

Just found one and it had 2 sockets, I didn't know set pieces could be found with sockets? Or does is it always socketed?

Yes, IK Helm (http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/sets/sets5.shtml#immortalking) always has 2 sockets. Several set items have sockets, especially the Griswold's set.

The IK helm always comes with 2 sockets. There are other set items with sockets, e.g. all of Griswold's set. See Arreat Summit for details, the link is in my sig.

Use it if you have nothing better, but it's almost worthless tradewise.

Yer the IK set works really well for mf and ptopazs are easy enough to come by too
