Ok, im always trying to plan out a new idea of a build for pvp. And i think i may have one, a PvP Hunter. Ill admit, ive nvr successfully made an effective summoner before, but im willing to take the criticism. So this was what i was thinking:

+3 Grizz +3 HoW 3soc Helm with xx/ias Jewels (120/45 best)
Widowmaker (sheal'd)
Enigma Armor (mage or bp for base str)
Nosferatu Coil
Crafted 20ias Kb stat/res gloves
War Travs (maximize dmg)
Highlord's/Cats Eye (cant decide, dont know how much dex helps Druid's Bow dmg)
2x 10 fcr/100+ar/dex/ etc(life/mana/res) rings

Switch:
Wizspike/ 30+ fcr Spirit (with the rings you hit the 99% fcr bp [is 99 good enough for tele? or is the one below it fine?])

Merc:
Might Merc
Pride Polearm
Bramble Armor
Gaze/Andy/?? (cant decide, suggestions?)

Skills:
20 HoW
20 Griz
20 Dire
20 Summon
rest into?

Charms consisting of Summon fhr's/life and Max/ar/lifers(etc)

Buffing can be +3 summon stuff, grief(for the venom dmg on the bow[worth it?]), treachery(lol, my resist are going to be in the crapper)

With the HoW/Conc/Might and the ed from the helm and all the charms and such Im hoping that he will deal enough deal enough dmg to either finish off an opponent (since the griz and merc will be doing quite a bit themselves) So do you guys think this could work? Tele/switch Widow/Shoot at 9 fpa/switch wiz/spirit/tele rense+repeat.

I may or may not try him out, maybe ill build him up in single and give him a try. The only real downside i see to myself is that i have no source of OW's, just pure dmg. Who knows, not me yet.

Dont knock it, til its tested!

I like it go with the highlords. I think you should be teleporting more then running. Try to get some faster cast rate going.

For the fcr, i have that spirit/wizzy switch (the wiz (50) spirit (29+) and 2x fcr rings (20) gives me 100 to hit the 99% bp for fcr) Ill hopefully be able to start gathering things for this char soon (prolly make a mock up in the hero editor prolly) and test it in open.

Im kind of surprised only one person has posted on this thread, is this a build that has already been thought of? B/c ive never seen any one that has proposed an idea such as this. Come on, i personally think i have something here, and id like to see what your suggestions to maximize this char to the point where he could possibly become a hit.

Try it. It seems like it would work to me although I could see charger/smiter/hammerdin/BvA's/and most sins being a royal pain. Obviously you probably won't get much feedback seeing as no one really that I know of has made something like this.

hm..how's your bear going to hit people when you're teleing like nuts trying to get into a good bow range?

Anyhow, it sounds really fun. Something I might make soon.
Maybe, instead of your summons, you could use fVolcano or Hurricane =O
That'd be exciting, but hard to teleport...especially with cano.

I'd substitute gores out for your travs, too.

He can do drive-by's with his bear shaman style.

The tele/bear combo works especially well, and the idea on a whole WILL work indeed.

But your main problem is that your widowmaker damage will be absurdly lacking. Sorcs, pallys, zons, sins, and necros even all have a way to boost their g-arrow damage, but you will most likely not even break 1000 damage g-arrows on a druid.

You CAN, on the other hand, stack LOTS of open wounds and poison.
Since your widowmaker would be mostly used against things like barbs that you can't melee, openwounds and poison would be highly useful in widdling them down.

I suggest completely ignoring the damage on your widowmaker, and getting 10x 100 psn or better charms, + open wounds gear.

Yay! Feedback!

nickedoff: The bear would be used as a kind of close quarters def (for when a charger/smite/hammer/ etc). With the merc and the Bear dealing quite a bit of physical dmg, im hoping that anything with in range 5 (or how ever long my polearm on him will be) will be fairly covered.

Also, if i was to use hurricane or volcano, i wouldnt be a hunter really, id be a elementalist hunter or w/e the summoner guide calls it lol.

claniraqonetwothree: I would love to work OW's and psn into the build (as i said, a greif's venom buff) but i dont know if id suffer by not hitting the last ias bp for a druid with a ward[widow maker], being 125 ias for 9 frame shooting.

Quick question, is the req speed for standard attack/guided arrow the same? Or do they have different bp's? If theyre different and i could free up some space for OW's i could use gores+OW belt+ maybe even um the bow (providing i would have enough speed to shoot at a decent fps)

I like the idea of psn sc's though, that may work better than using a grief as a prebuff.

Thnx so far guys! If i get any free time ill try to calc up how much this fellow could end up costing me lol...
