when i get hit, i guess when i get hit hard by a high damage attack, i get knocked out of wolf.... this is getting very annoying in pvp... and now that i just got to hell i fear that some monsters might do enough damage to knock me out of wolf?

wait a sec why the hell am i getting knocked out of wolf? please explain.

Blizzard does not have a death animation for shifted players therefore when a player is at 1pt or about to die, blizzard makes it so your character shifts back into human form; however, the excess dmg does not transfer over and kill the player. Instead, he is left at 1pt and in human form.

This is actually usefull for pvp. Make sure to have werewolf/bear selected so that when you unshift, you can reshift quickly and get in another attack. Pub players don't usually expect your character to still be alive so you can deliever another attack, recieve dmg, and reshift.

Don't count on being immortal though. It takes a longish time to unshift and reshift so you'll be getting hit.

When you unshift at 1 life, it counts as you dying.
If you were snazzy, you could get a junky die poison facet and socket it wherever.
That way, when they unshift you, the nova goes off and brings them down to at least a fourth of their life. Just shift back and pray you can get a few more furies in.

I know from experience that nova doesn't go off when you unshift. I have 4 die facets in my build and never have I been so lucky. Nova goes off only when you get the red letters on the screen.
Or maybe it did go off on them while they were off screen...

It does, my friend made a sick Fury druid that had nothing but poison facets. When he unshifted if he didn't kill his opponent they were lucky. Hilarious against WW Barbs

Too bad it's not synergized. A shifter necromancer would work better for the exploit though.

I did it on Open. Necro with Beastzerker+Spirit Switch, some sick Dagger weapon, Bramble, Facet Sheild, Trang Gloves, Arach....I daggered away, died for an unshift, then hit them with a finishing Dagger.

Oh snap, I never have facets on when I die. I'm usually back in melee mode.
This is actually a good idea for a last ditch effort.

When I think I might die in a duel, swap back to poison gear and let the novas go off...
