Hello there!
I am relatively new to this forum, so please be nice.
My level 76 rabies/fury druid has just hit hell and his ar is rubbish.

Gear:
Jalals | Upd Ribby | Vipermagi | Trangs Claws | Verdung | Goblin Toe
resists on ammy/rings - in positive numbers, just.

Stats:
I have only just decided on going two handed rather than one for that reason I have LOTS of saved points (170 actually)
str 115 | dex 48 | vit 180 | energy 40

Skills:
Rabies/Fury maxed | poison creeper about 14 | oak 8 | lyc 8 | feral 9

Is it time for the old angelic combo, or do you guys have any other suggestions?

I don't PvP either; only PvM. Many thanks.

Ya I would personly switch out alot of your items for new stuff. But as it is go with anglics combo or highlords and 2 raven frosts. Dump the rest of your points into vit. Its way too low.

For a melee fury / rabies druid, get yourself a ravenfrost to start. That's essential. Then go with either the angelics combo, or maybe a dual leech ring with AR, or even another ravenfrost. Highlord's amulet works well.

The right jewelry will help a lot with your AR. Also think about getting a different armor than vipermagi - any particular reason for it? Lionheart is good and cheap, or duress.

What exactly is your AR right now? One major factor is your extremely low dexterity. A lot of people who go max block with a shield have a high dexteritiy so they never run into this low AR problem.

Also for your upped ribby, is it shaeled? Boots - do you have any gore riders? Give us some more info and we can help more, and welcome to the druid forum!

It really struck me as odd that you would have ar problems with a werewolf since wolves generally have no problem hitting anything. Have you considered putting more points into werewolf to improve your fury speed as well as ar? I wouldn't dump anymore into feral though since once it's charged up there's really no reason to use it instead of fury.

As for your stats, assuming those are base stats, don't put anymore into energy. There are only a handful of builds that really need to spend points there and yours definitely is not one of them. I'd say dump it all into vit as long as you can use any other foreseeable equipment.

For gear you might also consider substituting Jalal's for Cerebus Bite to improve your ar. It's usually considered a pvp pelt, but it might help you out though you'd be losing Jalal's nice bonuses. What kind of charms do you use? Maybe you could find a few cheap ar charms to help you out.

Thanks for the responses; sorry my response was so slow.

My AR was 289/626 (human/wolf form) - I have shoved a raven frost on and now it is 568/1161/ (2161 fury/rabies = 73% chance to hit).

Was wearing Viper/Magi for the +1 skill and the resists. I have swapped this to Smoke and now his resists in hell are 30/46/16/36; which aren't great but I am trying to pick up some shimmering charms.

The dex and life are low but I do have 170 saved stat points. I was debating one or two handed weapons, which I why I haven't allocated them. Now I am certain on a 2 handed weapon and won't be using a shield, I was going to ignore dex and just have enough for the weapon.

The ribby isn't shael'd. I don't have any gore riders - I am trying to trade for some.

I was following the stoutewolf guid as much as I could afford. I know it's a PvP guide, but as Erish is my first druid, I thought it was somewhere to start.

I will try the raven (I didn't realize it would have such a huge effect), but if you have any further thoughts, I would love to hear them.

Thanks for the welcome.

Smoke is a great armor. I used smoke and an upped, shaeled ribcracker well into hell difficulty and it worked great. I have a pure fury wolf, so slightly different, but I agree - no more points into feral rage.

My gear at that time was:
Jalals
Smoke
Ribcracker upped, shaeled
Verdungo
ravenfrost
dual leech ring
gore riders
amulet varied, but usually some variation of skills / resists, highlords, or atmas ammy.

You should do well with that setup - I haven't played a rabies build before but I would max lyc, and I guess for the rabies you'll want to max poison creeper for the synergy. More points into vitality, and only enough str / dex for your equipment since you aren't using a shield.

Note, however, that large sorces of good AR are: base dexterity and werewolf skill. Since those are both low on your character, that might explain the poor AR you were experiencing. Angelic ring and amulet is another way to pick up a lot of AR.

Good luck!

get max block, points ind ex also increase your ar. Also switch the goblin toes for goreriders and if you rebuild (which i advice you to) put 1 point in feral rage and nothing more:thumbsup: . Use duress or shaft as an armor and bloodfist as gloves for pvp, draculs are also great for pvm
