Hi,

According to the pre v1.08 affix tables available here at diabloii.net, the 'Merciless' and 'Kings' mods for melee weapons could each give upto +200% enhanced damage, back then; can I assume that there is potentially such a thing as a 400% ed weapon still floating around on classic, a remnant of an older patch?

Could this question be similarly applied to rare armors and the higher enhanced defense% that was possible years ago?

Much thanks and forgive my ignorance of Classic, it has been many years since I've played it

I see them listed at 100% max each on this page. Pre-1.07, the best possible was actually 198% due to the n-1 bug, however.

My reference point was the Imbue & Gamble Guide, from the 'pre 1.08 guide' section of the strategy compendium

They appear as a max of +200%.. were the guide writers simply mistaken?

might be a maths confusion,

100% increase = 200% of the original ammount

e.g. if damage is 40 and you have 100% increase to 80 that is 200% of the original 40 :smiley:

Maximum added damage on a classic wep is 200%ed, 20max, 14min. One of the up to 100%ed mods also adds up to 150ar, and a seperate AR mod adds up to 150 more for a total of 300, and with a perfect amethyst a weapon can reach 450.
