Can i get in trouble with this? strbug

I got str bug on my amazon, i use titans + storm on switch and storm can only be equiped if i have titans on already (+20 str on titans).

Now when i die in duel game with my bow out and i wanna pick up body, i have to pick my body two times, first normal and then press 'w' to pick up my stormshield. If i get nk'd during these or nk'd more then once can i get my gear back? also when i leave game because it's annoying or sumthing will all my gear be back?

Hope i explained it correctly, any help would be appreciated.

I play HC, but my understanding is thusly: If you die, and pick up some equipment off of your body, the rest stays there. You die again, what you had is on the second body, the rest is still on the first. If you pick up the second body, then leave, you lose the gear remaining on the first.

If you have multiple bodies and leave the game, only one body will be saved. That body is the one whose items have the highest total in-game gold value.

In your example, there's only one body on the ground (the first) so you'd be okay leaving the game.


sica - The easiest way to avoid this issue is to make sure you have room in your inventory to pick up the items you don't automatically equip.

Also, due to the anya resist bug, you should probably leave the game and return each time you die anyway.

If you leave a game when you have items on multiple bodies, you will lose some items. (The body with the equipment of the highest gold value is saved.) So if you are killed after picking up your body, and retrieving all items but your stormshield, and then quit the game you will lose your stormshield.

The solution that comes to mind is to open up 6 inventory spots by stashing something, and then your stormshield will be put into your inventory when you fail to equip it.

Yes, tnx for posts, the way i see it now is there will be no possibility to loose any of my items (except the stormshield) because all the items will remain on 1 char (except the stormshield) because the rest of the items (except the stormshield) i can pick up with my anni / torch.

yes, anya bug should force you to that but most of the time i dont really care ^^. Does this bug actually occur every time you die?

Exact same thing happens with my zon. I've already went through a SS this way, so now I just socket it with crap freedom jewls with other minor mods.

Everytime I die bowhand, I pick up bod, switch, and with the titan's +20, I can pick up SS. You just get used to it in awhile and won't pick up body in any situation that might cause you to die before you can pick 2nd time.

Its all worth it for fully bugging everything, including the titan's.

hehe, yeah the prob isnt that i loose the storm, that's easy to get but the rest of my gear is a bit more rare and dont wanna loose it ingame :azn:
