can you continue rerolling a GC?

Let's say i found a GC from hell baal. I reroll it once and lets say i get a really ****ty charm like a charm with required level 5. can i still reroll it more to try to get a skiller? or does it lose its high item level, meaning i ahve to find another baal charm to reroll?
