Brain Glitch

Last time I was on my hunter, I did the nightmare Kurast Sewers and got the brain. When I logged on today I had no brain in my stash, so I did the sewers again. I opened the gold chest on the second level, but no brain came out of it. Any suggestions on how to fix this glitch? Thanks in advance!

I believe the brain is from the Flayer Dungeon. You get the heart in the Sewers.

Of course, if for some reason you can't complete the flail, there's the old waypoint trick...

This suggestion may be pretty obvious, but check everything on that character if you already have a piece. Stash, inventory, cube.

And, I'm also pretty sure that the Brain is the piece that's guarded by Witch Doctor Endugu, in the Flayer Dungeon.

Hehehe, wow! You guys had me doubting myself, but you are mistaken. I say wow since I have been playing this game since the week it came out, long before the expansion. Diabolico: yeah that's very obvious, and of course I did.

Khalim's Heart: in a golden chest on level
three of the Flayer Dungeon beneath the Flayer Jungle.

Khalim's Brain: in a golden chest on level two
of the sewers, beneath Lower Kurast or Kurast.

I have the heart, I don't have the brain.

This info is from the LoD encyclopedia, which is only up to date to 1.09, but still very useful, and no quests were altered in intervening patches.

I'm thinking I need to just get someone to give me the Durance WP, although it goes against my policy of not taking rushes. If someone can suggest an alternative I would appreciate it!

Hmm, sure you're hitting the right chest?

Unless your no-rush policy extends against partying with other players as well, you can always join up with someone else who's completing Act 3 for themselves, and sort of tag along.

Just to confirm this from personal experience, I just got the brain from the flayer dungeon 10 minutes ago.
