I'm looking to make an Infinity polearm as a merc weapon. The only catch is, it must do as little damage as possible. A slow attack rate is also preferable.
The best candidate for this runeword would be a Voulge. It's the least-damaging of the polearms with four sockets. However, I know that there are also white-item modifiers such as Low Quality, Cracked, Crude, and Damaged, which may bring the damage even lower. (any idea by exactly how much lower for each?)
My question is, would it be possible to get four sockets into a Voulge with any of these modifiers? This is most likely using the Shenk quest reward to socket it. I'm also most likely going to be searching for one in normal mode, such as in the normal cow level.
Oh and in case you're wondering, I'm trying to plan a merc that will provide a Conviction aura, while not getting himself killed too easily in the Chaos Sanctuary with Iron Maiden.
