How much -enemy lightning resist is required to remove LI's in Hell mode? Is it possible with a javazon? Assuming it would require an infinity merc..

You cannot remove LI from a monster with -Enemy Lightning Resistance. Infinity does it becaue of its Conviction aura.

I don't know, I have a level 88 LF zon wusing Titans, COH, LOH, and other assorted gear and she can kill most LI's using LF and/or CS with the help of her merc and valk. Merc is wearing Repers, Delerium, and Duriels. That is in solo games, though, but it does work. The merc does some serious damage, though, but it seems like LF helps a lot.

Or make a hybrid (LF/FA or LF/Strafe). Use you bow as weapon switch to kill them all :)

PS: Infinity should remove most of the lite immune but there are some that can not be removed, though.

I think Infinity does remove all of the immunes, because it lowers their Maximum resistance by 90.

Hybrids don't really do as well as pure javazon or pure bowazon... with the lightning, you really need that damage IMO.

Not really. The Conviction only has 1/5 power when the monster has resist >100%. So, a level 12 conviction from inifinty (-85% resist) will only work as -17% for monsters with >100% resist. If a monster has light ressit @ 116%, after conviction aura, it will be 99% (you break the immunity). Most of the monsters in Hell mode don't have resist > 116%, so you can break most of them.

Correct me if I am wrong :)

Ahhh right right right. Forgot about if they are immune then it is 1/5th effective. All I know for sure is that Infinity is really good and i damned well want one  .

Yeah, fortunately, most of light immune could be broken by just lvl12 conviction from infinity. Thus, all light builds (light sin, light sorc, LF zon, light Auradin) benefit a lot from infinity :)

infinity helps much more against monsters that have high res against your particular element instead of immunity because then the full conviction bonus is applied to them

if you really want to deal with LI's get upgraded eth titans and a might merc

Just jab em to death with your weapon and the might merc. A merc with a reaper's toll (and FAR CHEAPER than infinity to break LI PI) also wreaks havoc especially if ye a hybrid zon not using Atma's scarab.
