2 Simple Question: Facet & White Item

Hi all. I have two rather newbie questions for u : -

1. Does the mod of facet (e.g. cast lvl x mod when u die) work on merc's gear ?

2. In order to make a runeword, one must find a white item for it. There are some "white" items with mod and they can be runed. e.g. Pal Shield. i ) are there any other white items with mod which can be made into runeword? ii ) how do I distinguish them from not-workable-mod-white ? iii) for those workable white with mod, how many mode can it has?

1. Yes

2. Sorc weapons have staff mods; ie + to meteor. Necromancer heads do too, as well as druid helmets, amazon weapons, barbarian helmets, and assassin claws.

If it's grey named, of the weapon type you need, and has the right amount of sockets - a runeword will work in it

I don't understand your third question

1) Yes

2)All socketed GRAY items can be made into runewords. It doesn't matter if the item has mods, as long as it is gray (not blue, yellow, green, or gold). Those mods are either automods or staffmods and they do not affect the item's ability to be runeworded.

No. Facets only benefit the person into whose gear they are socketed. That Facet only does you any good if you actually socket it on your Javazon.
