Hey i'm at school now and i can't connect to battle.net. i'm assuming it's because the school uses a firewall. wheneveri try to access controversial websites, a websense message comes up. has anyone else had this problem? Is there any way to connect to battle.net??? I've heard some about proxy tunnels or something like that but i really have no idea what to do.any help is much appreciated.

You probably really shouldn't :D
I don't know about your school, but in mine, before you can use any of the technology (computers especially) you need to sign a pile of forms.
Using something to bypass their firewall is probably against the law ;)

That's wierd. I was able to play Starcraft and Counterstrike Source on the internet at my school. We have this thing called "Clean Access Agent." I guess all it really does is check to make sure your computer and anti-virus programs are all updated. It doesn't allow you on if you don't have the latest upgrades, which I think is good: you don't "taint" the network and screw it up for everybody else if your computer isn't "clean" enough or good to go or whatever.
If it were me, I'd ask you IT/EIS guys or whatever your school's equivalent to that is. I don't know where you go, but it might take a while... (at my school I usually fix my problem and others' before the IT guys can respond to my querry, and I'm no computer ace myself)
Get it fixed though!! Not being able to play some kind of online game can make some free time go by verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry slowly...
