Annoyed with peeps that use Hacks

I must say its rather annoying to play hell cs games only to have everyone take items so fast with their "pickit" program. Suffice to say what the heck is the point of me doing hell cs games? I really hope blizzard could continue banning people, cause frick, that's annoying for someone who plays legit. Is "pickit" even considered a hack? A few people said it was, I'd like to know.

Yeah, i get this sometimes and i get a little pissy when someone accuses me of using pickit hack. I always hold Alt to see all the items on the floor.

As stated, a lot of people have simply gotten very fast at picking up items manually. I'm one of these people. Hold Alt all the time, immediately click on a newly dropped rare. A large part of that is in getting used to your mouses movement speed to make as quick and accurate a click as possible.

Now I'm good at alt-ing and picking up items really fast but nah, everyone i see has it picked up within less than a second of everythign dropping. There's no way that these people were using alt, then I would have had a chance at getting the items too. I can tell when people use alt and pick up items, its easy to tell, and also after being in those games, then joining the next cs and asking how everyone picked everything up so fast, they said they use pickit, I'm not saying everyone does, but there's alot out there that do and its annoying. Kinda sucks that people cheat I mean, this game isn't even that hard to begin with, I guess its too much for some 12 year olds.

Another thing I've wondered about is when I tele'ing for a cs game and I'm the only sorc that does it, all of a sudden I make it to the pentagram tp into town and then there's people already opening seals when they were wating for me before to even get into the cs. How could they have gotten past me so quickly and so far? Just to add these are the same people that are in a "rush" to open the seals before clearing. Basically its like they somehow teleported to a seal.

Is a barb making the game and leaping? If you take your time getting pots etc. everygame, people will not wait for you.

dude lol, I don't take my time, I straight tele as fast as possible, just like everyone else. That's why I find it so weird, a barb couldnt have moved faster.

I'm pretty new to this whole online D2 experience and I find the lack of courtesy disturbing to speak with the words of the father...

Since my character has been above lvl 20 I have been playing through various acts (normal diff) with some peeps and my minions had been doing virtually all the killing for them, I'd provided tp's when they died, etc.
Most notably was a Hell game last Sunday. The other players just let me do the killing (which I don't really mind, it's the fun part, right :p), provide them with tp's when they died (which seemed pretty stupid since they were higher lvl chars) and kept scooping up the rares without checking if maybe I could use them and didn't even leave me a gem or anything from the forge, that's when I politely informed them of my displeasedness and left the game. Guess I wil be solo'ing a lot...

To cut my whining short and not look like a total ****** I'll end on somewhat of a high note :)

Too be honest in a public game with people you dont know it is a free for all, although if someone is much lower level (or less able to kill than you) they should let better ppl have first refusal otherwise they are likely to get kicked or pk'ed. What you need to do is make a few friends that play about the same times as you then you can make more civilised private games or party in someone elses game where you make up the rules for fair distribution of items.
E.g. my friends and i play alot of cs games taking it in turn to have a diablo quest drop etc...

oh and Gnostosis do you play with a dial up connection as this can be the only thing that explains your problems im guessing you have high ping / lag

1st how many items does d drop like 4 yellow maybye more.
there are 7 (assuming they uped) people around him all clicking there assess off to get something i dont think u have a good chance espacislly if you have a bad position position is everything, go below D right nder him and hold tab and spam clicks :D You will get 1 or 2 if your lucky or maybe noone.

Ive found 1 gg item from a pub cs run out of 1oos lol dont do it for drops your better off mfing.

and why dont people clear out the CS?
most high lvls go straight for seal bosses=mass exp and 2ndly to get to D quicker which there are drops and good exp sometimes the only exp u get from a run. so pretty much there is no point in clearing out cs lol.

I never even try to pick up drops in pub games. It just isn't worth it. Can't get anything, don't even see it drop, get all upset about it. Who needs the hassle? The only reason I go into pub games is the XP. I MF by myself or with a trusted friend with which we share the drops. I've made a lot of good friends this way. This is about the only way to really enjoy lvling up and finding items.

Dude I'm totally with you there, we should cs sometime, my account name is rory2005 on us east. As for the people who wondered about my internet connections its extreme gaming internet, the highest speed package i can get. There's been times I lagged, ofcourse, anyway enough with the annoyed talk if there's anyone who's on the same wavelength as oompie and I, I got a blizz sorc and I'd love to do some cs runs. I'd like to find a regular group to cs with and such, bs free. That would be fun.

Also it could be a charger pally, and in the past they could have used maphack, and probably will soon or even today. If u dont like the way people do the cs run, then u have to rename it and make it a different kind of diablo game. Chances are u dont have enough friends to make it private.

If u have a slow computer, items will disappear before alt can even show them for you. With a fast computer, u will be able to see the name of the items easily, then they disappear. If a pickit is being used, the nice items will disappear in a blink, u can just barely read them. Pickit uses maphack. Its fairly easy to figure out who is doing it, sometimes dropping an unid'd nice item next to them will give them away.

If u want ur own run, but not as fast, u have to take charge and rename it, try to identify some ppl in a run who dont look happy with the way things are going, they will usually be grateful for any offer of a new game. Dont call it cs or diablo or seals or anything that sexually excites the crack heads. Here in USWest we call them walks, rwalks, safewalks, slow walk-01, and such. Then u have to ban peeps who come in complaining about how slow it is. If they dont leave and try to mess things up, then u have to learn all the tech of pk'ers. It can take a long time to figure this stuff out....
