and so on, i tried to see at the tables in the ama guide section, but i don't get it :<

Bah I just stopped caring about bp's a long time ago. Theres a reason I failed 8th grade math and skipped nearly every class of it.

It's really very simple. There are 25 frames per second in the game. The more quickly you attack, the better off you are. The first number is the number of frames it takes to start the strafe volley, for example, including the character animation. The second number is the number of frames it takes to get off the next arrow and the next, etc.. So if you look at this strafe table:


0% IAS 13/3
2% IAS 12/3
13% IAS 11/3
15% IAS 10/3
37% IAS 9/3
60% IAS 9/2
80% IAS 8/2

you'll see that if you carry 80% increased attack speed (IAS), you can attack in 8 frames with the first arrow 2 frames after that. Pretty darn fast. I have had people comment about how fast my zon is. This is for the fastest bows.

If you look at this table:

0% IAS, 12 frames
8% IAS, 11 frames
22% IAS, 10 frames
42% IAS, 9 frames
75% IAS, 8 frames
142% IAS, 7 frames

you'll see that it takes 142% IAS to reach the fastest attack with a normal attack (not strafe). That may look better because ot says it takes 7 frames, not 8. But it will take another 7 to get off the next arrow and the next, and so on. Strafe is much faster and it takes less IAS to get there. You don't have to sacrifice as much gear to wear 80% as you do to wear 142%.

Every bowazon should use these tables because speed is what is important since they don't do 10,000 damage per attack.

I request that the table is removed/corrected, since it turns out that the german calc is incorrect regarding strafe maximum speed. Or that a notification of this is edited into the table/post I made. Please :smiley:
