Frenzy barb PvM/PvP test build

Hi barb specs!
I never made any barb and now I finally got courageous to make one Frenzy. Why frenzy? Coz ww barbs are everywhere and I dont like something what others have, + I have wwsin already.

I'm new in barb section, so be nice with me :wink3: , but I'm not new in d2 so dont :soapbox: me.

My gear choice:

Helm - CoA? Arreats?
Armor - Enigma? Forti for PvP; Duress for PvM
Weapons - here is dillemma, Beast/BotD? Beast/Grief? BotD/Grief? For PvM I dont bother so much, but I dont know what I need for PvP.
Belt - dungos; any other good option?
Amu - Maras? Metalgrid?
Rings - dual ravens (will need AR)
Boots - Treks? IK?
Gloves - Bloodfists? Dracs? (frenzy should trigger lifetap quite often I think)

What charms - I'm not rich so dont say 3/20/20. I was thinking of life AR charms I got and some 4 warcry charms.

In theory I should get 37% DR, 6-7K life, max resist, 8-10k AR, good velocity, dunno about dmg, but should hit last frenzy bkp @5fps.

Skills:

big deal, no problem here :cool:

So mainly I have gear choice problem for now.
Maybe you can give me also some tips for PvP.

20k ar min for pvp, perhaps 30k otherwise you wont hit anyone and die

Im looking to make a successful frenzy pvp barb, but it will take alot of ingenuity to accompish this
Im probably about 3 months away from "working it out"

WhiteAlien, try this: go to kurast bazaar and wear down one of those doom ape monkeys who run away when they're low on health.

Let him flee and follow him while you wait for your frenzy charge to die off. After you de-frenzyied, try and start swinging at that ape again...

It keeps running away while your swings miss, right? That's why no one tries pvp frenzy.

After you try that with a normal doom ape, look for a boss pack of extra fast doom apes and try and do the same trick on one of them.

Then you're close to the real life pvp situation :cool:

and then give the extra fast doom ape rapid screen-wide teleport

then it might approach the reality of pvp

use the WC GCs to prebuff if you're really keen, but AR or life or damage charms will be your best bet.
