Hi all,
newB d2-gamer here!
I'll probably become a d2-basic player. Here's my story:
I've been into gaming for years, and discovered the mmorpg's about two years back. I never payed a dime for any game, up till now. Kind of a habit from when i didn't HAVE a dime to pay for anything:-)
So I played Astonia 3 and Conquer. Both were fun for some months, but the first was a bit to basic and the last was ... well felt like work in the end.
After an intense time of conquer-playing (top ranking char in my server) I left the mmorpg's for some time.
I remembered the existence of Diablo a few days ago, and the fact that I liked the demo. So I decided to 'test' the game. Played solo untill I reached the summit in the expansion-set. Which I found a bit to hard to get past on my own. So I went searching for ways to play it with some other folks. Still in my in habit of cheap-bastard, I found a nice server. alas, only modded d2-versions there....
I'm becoming nuts from all the options and possibilities of crafting and characterbuilding and trainers and stuff over there...
I can't take it anymore... I want more simplicity. Even the expansion I found a bit :prop: when I first installed it.
So there it goes: I've ordered the original D2 so I can play it a bit more relaxed and with some -hopefully- decent servers on b.net .
:listen: Yes, I'm finally paying to play :) paying for simplicity
