*Hybrid Advice Needed* ~LesC

I've begun leveling my new amazon (picked amazon over barb :thumbsup:). As of today I've decided to go hybrid instead of just a Javazon. I'm still in the process of aquiring all my gear but my setup should resemble this:

Helm: Harlequin Crest Shako OR Amazon Circlet [+2/STR/DEX/RES/ETC.]
Armor: Perfect Dusk CoH
Weapon: Eth Titan's Revenge
Shield: Stormshield Monarch 'Eld'
Gloves: 20%IAS/Knockback/STR/Res Vambraces
Boots: Perfect Waterwalk
Ring1: Perfect Raven Frost
Ring2: Rare Ring [Dual Leech/DEX/Res/Life]
Amulet: Mara's Kaleidoscope
Belt: Perfect TGOD's Vigor

Weapon Switch: Windforce Hydra Bow 'ED/IAS'

*Keep in mind I'm making this Amazon for PvP purposes...

Skill distribution:

20 - Charged Strike
20 - Lightning Fury
20 - Lightning Strike
1? (should this be higher?) - Guided Arrow
4 - Dodge = 50% w/ +8 Skills
1 - Avoid = 50% w/ +6 Skills
4 - Evade = 50% w/ +8 Skills
8 - Pre-requisites

78 Skill Points Used

I'm planning to level until 90 before I start dueling, with all skill quest complete. I should be level 67 with all the skill ponits allocated. Where would be the best place to throw the other 23-ish skill points?

Stats will be the generic placement.
No Energy
Enough Strength for gear [Nearest to base as possible]
Enough Dexterity for Max Block [Nearest to base as possible or ~100 Base]
Rest in Vitality

These type of zons can be very good at PvM because they can kill anything, even if they don't have the killing power of a pure java or bowazon. My main character this season was one built around the skills you proposed, but was equipped with more bow-type gear like faith, fortitude, highlords. Again, very fun and effective

But for PvP? Because of your gear/skill choices you won't have the killing power to do well on either side - java side you need more synergies and things like light facets and bow side you need more ias, high critical strike and more pure damage (fortitude).

Maybe it would work if you go with a build that's less synergy-intensive on the java tree like poison java/guided arrow. I never made one so i cannot comment on the effectiveness. There's a guide in the stickies though.

i have a somewhat hybrid, and if you plan on building your zon like that for pvm it's fine. but for pvp you'll get raped, it's just not like the old days where the hybrids were absolutely dominant in dueling.
