I haven't found a guide on this, so I'd like to help all of you wannabe BvBers with a fairly cheap(but not clegs cheap) build. If you noticed, I use the word "Modern," to describe this type of dueler. This is because the older BvBers used very high defense, and lots of leech. Modern BvB is all about life and crushing blow. You've probably seen hundreds of barbs duel each other, so I won't go into detail about HOW exactly you're supposed to use this character. I'll start off with stats:
Stats:
Strength: 70-80(Yes, 60. I believe in LOTS of life)
Dexterity: Base
Vitality: Rest after Strength
Energy: Base
You're probably wondering why I put 60 strength there. It is surely possible to equip a BH with this strength. Twitch will give you 10 strength, so that's 80. Your belt should also have 20 strength on it. Now let's get to the simple gear.
Helm: Biggon's Bonnet(Makes up for your low strength)
Amulet: Angelics
Weapon: Battle Hammer(1 Soj should get you a 16X)[Ladder]
Armor: Twitch
Shield: Swordback
Rings: Angelics
Belt: 17-24FHR 30+Life 20 Strength
Gloves: Bloodfists(More Life + Min Dmg)
Boots: Goblin Toe's
This BvB should survive pretty long in a duel. The only thing that makes this BvB better than other barbs like this, are the BH and the Belt, and the Level. This BvB should be fairly cheap, the BH being the most expensive item. Feel free to experiment with the Helm and the Gloves. Other option would be a Grim Helm, and Ias Str Dex High Def Gloves.
