So I've got both bows on my lvl 55 bowazon on my way to kill Nightmare Meph. But both bows seem equally good...with the WWS having two sockets, deadly strike and resists while the Cliffkiller having high damage, knockback and +2 to zon skills...I'm a noob at this sooo...which one's the keeper?

And if Witchwild String is the answer, what two things are the best to put in those sockets?

use both?

keep the cliffkiller to cast your valk for the plus 2 and if you are using multi shot (cows/chaos/large open areas)

use wws for strafe and for dangerous areas (wsk/chaos) for the allresist. wws also has amp correct? that would be setoff by strafe alot, so strafe wait for amp to cast, then switch to multi with either bow.

why limit yourself to one... use em both

WWS is an amazing little bow.
Socket it with 2x shaels, it'll be hitting so fast, the amp damage and deadly strike will be flying off, especially with strafe

I think I can forget about WWS now...Nightmare Meph just dropped Goldstrike Arch:D and I just went past chaos sanc and diablo like a breeze with it. Currently whoring in Act 5 NM.

By the way...I'm thinking of socketing my Goldstrike...what are the viable gems/runes for it?

WWS is still a better bow.

I would go with the WWS instead of the Goldstrike.

however.... shael is the way to go.

remember wws got +40 to all resists

now how cool is that?

WWS is still a better bow.

agreed, and those two sockets allow a much greater amount of gear flexibility with regards to ias knockback etc depending on what you socket the bow with.

Upped WWS. It is just below the lvl of botd bows, Faith and Windforce.
