HI all,

Ive been starting to keep some of my godly low level drops in the preparation to make a uber low level BVA dueler. I think it might be fun. I am going to level my barb to a max of 25. Reason being is a like the idea of having a low level sleeper that may also beat slightly higher lvl characters

Some of the found items I am thinking of equipping this barb are:
-+3 bo level helm with 50 def/some resists/and other minor modifiers
-1 socket armor with 17% fhr/2 res mods/576 def/48 life/other minor mods
-Goblin toe boots
-Blood fist gloves
-Angelics

Still looking for either an rare or unique weapon(s), belt, and possibly shield.

An assortment of great max/life/resist/fhr/ar/poison dmg charms

At this point not sure how to allocate skills and stats. Any low level duelers who can help? Thanks!

Go w/ level 30 and you get the best attack in the game: WW.

*yawn*

Sorry.... warm day today. Anyway, let me see, at clvl 25 there are two real options. The rest is just garbage (note, this is not imho, but options, trust me).

Frogger, or Concentrate. Frogger (leaper barbie) are hard to use, but if correctly used can be really devastating. For a leaper, you'll need a massively damaging weapon. There are a few options here, and ill list em below:
2-handers:
eth bonesnap
eth lance with 6 20% ED jools
eth martel with 6 20% ED jools
1-handers:
clegs sword+gloves (silly, but ok)
some rare battlehammer with massive damage (ethereal)

Really, go for a 2-hander. If you go to level 27, you'll also have the ehtereal honor lance/martel/whatever/whatnot and the ethereal insight bec de corbin/whatever/whatnot, which will greatly increase your chances to one-hit a poor sod.

Skillwise this aint too hard:
max leap attack for level
max BO for level
4-5 pts into mastery of choice, if you want/need the % to crit... (at clvl 27 ignore this)
rest goes into Leap for added damage.

gearwise: Well, leap attack aint exactly dependant on attack speeds or something, so I'd suggest
Sanders Boots for r/w
Bloodfist for life/FHR
angelic rings+ammy
+max dam armor/helm
deaths sash for CBF, otherwise perhaps a Nightsmoke for res and a bit mana.

easy huh? I used to make a pruby armor/helmet and then use cheap stuff and sanders boots to peekay people in HC... ona good leap wioth a 27 leaper you could do err like 1K PvP max per leap. Leaping aint easy though ;)... no long leaps, but short hops, and good planning.

The other option is the concentrate barbarian. Urr, this aint my speciality

... os ill save this till after lunch *burp* mmmm italian salad=nice. Anyways, concentrate barbie, here we go.

There are two main issues with concentrate barbies. No, make that three.
one: their attack is uninterruptable
two: they can have insane defense
three: sucky damage, no matter which way you turn it. I mean, a zealot can do comparable damage at that level per strike, uninterruptable, twice as fast. But still... you'll have a lot of life and defense. So here we go.

Skills:
Max concentrate
max BO for level (concentrate synergy, which is nice)
and then its up to you really. You could max shout, for more defense. Not a bad idea. You could also max bash, for concentrate synergy, but then I'd suggest mastery for the weapon instead (and always put 1 pt into that mastery anyway). Alternatively, you could max leap attack for a hybrid ;)

At any rate, max concentrate, BO, and shout is a safe path (all for the clvl o/c). equipment wise I'd go for the following:

an ethereal ornate plate, preferably 15% superior, with 4 sockets. This for the max defense approach. an ethereal 2 socket Grim Shield of Deflecting, preferably with a % defense mod. Angelic rings+ammy. Deaths sash+hands. Either CK boots for Dex, or Sanders dor Dex+AR.

The weapon... for clvl 27 (*sigh*, I know, you want to stay 25 ;) its an ethereal hono knout. As for clvl 25... hell, I dunno :badteeth: we always peekaayed at clvl 27.

Oh, and then there's the thrower barbie:
6-7 pts into throw mastery, 1 pt into double throw, max BO for level, rest into double swing for double throw synergy. get two ethereal harpoons of ouchieness with self-repair (rare ones, imbue till you drop), angelics, sanders, deaths sash/gloves, max dam armor/helm.

That's another cutie at clvl 25... limited ammo, but a nasty dude none the less. For all barbies goes that you should use two spirit swords on switch for a mighty +4 to all skills when crying.

Have fun, and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

i would believe u could:
use a barb helm with what ever skills u need if u can get
twitchroe armor
manchiro oak ammy
max ar charms tend to be kinda low lvl if u get the lower ones
gorefoots
faster run walk charms

max leap after all other skill points used for lvl
max bo for lvl
1 to leap attack
1 to stam, iron
max bash and its syner
u could pop 1 to frenzy to if u want

run hop knockback bash knockback

If you really want to go bva, id suggest going to lvl 30 so you can use dual Blood Letters (the glove hand one being a sheal'd and the other having a ed/max or something of the sort) and imbuning your self a real nice eth 2 os ancient/ornate plate w/ repair mod and hopefully other mods like str/dex/life/res (i think the ornate could go past 30 though, so not sure) Remember, def is your best friend really.

With Dual Blood letters i dont think you need to put any pts into ww either, which frees up quite a bit of skill pts. Bloodfists are prolly your best choice, unless you craft a real nice pair of blood gloves. As for the belt, go with a String of Ears. Gorefoot boots are great (gives a longer leap), sanders (frw, etc), rare 30 frw/10 fhr/tri res boots (godleh :D). And finding a +3 ww helm with 2nd mods such as Bo/Shout etc then putting rubies/sheals/jewels in it. Also ive seen some use +2 combat +2-3 bo rare eth repair moded helms with some very nice stats. Dont forget gelic ammy/ring combo for ar and life!

Meh, that may seem pretty random lol. I hope it helps though.

Dual bloodletters + all around life armor (and no investment in stats) = 3000 life barb with amusing, but not that high damage, and VERY low range on the WW.

oh yes we used to use em with two eth bloodletters, and then max bo, max sword mastery, and like i said pruby build... bloodfist, some sash, sanders boots, pruby mask/breastplate, angelics... with 3000 life at clvl 30,there aint much in that class that can one-off ya... it was a cheap way to hunt chargerdins on hardcore.
