Whirl Wind or Berserk

Well, Im not sure where to start, new but not new...Hehe.
Long story short Im wondering what would fall better for a main skill max berserker or ww since my barbs new i have little funds, but im kinda thinking that whirl Wind would be better. I do have some small assistance from a friend, but im not sure how far that will go exactly.
My other question is.. what weapons should I use? I've read some of the guides and I notice that a weapon/shield is a good way to go, but so is a good two hander, and then there is dual wielding..
How different is dual wielding with whirl wind from say two hand or using a shield, I am guessing that its close to the same its just no shield...would I require to keep my dex up to use my shield well?

If I was to use polearm, is there any recommended ones and runewords?
reading rikstalkers I kinda like the idea of a "great poleaxe" with Obedience as a runeword? Sorry Iknow its a load but any help would be greatly appreciated.
realising in most guides im supose to use a shield to do player vs player, the idea of hitting someone even if Ilose a lot in direct 1v1 would be kinda fun

If you wanted to go polearm, I would suggest to use WW and an eBotd Great Poleaxe, it what my barb uses and its great for ww

its fast enough to hit the last fps break point
The problem with obedience is that it is too slow for ww to be as good

Well Migor you got the right idea, but you just haven't decided on which to go with haha. Dual weilding, two handed, and weapon/shield all serve their purposes in the barbarian world so what exactly do you want your barb to be doing most of the time?

Clay, I am not really sure. lol. I wanted to be a barb using Immortal kings armor but the str requirement was so big, was a bit of a put off. I wasn't sure how much point wise, a weapon/shield barb varried from say dual wielding barb, and wether or not I wanted tobe WW or Berserk, I dont think
I'd be able to afford a "Ebotd" anything lol perhaps one day, but this is first character I'll have here. Friend said my earliest funds would be probably from my hellforge. I guess my biggest concern is if I pick a two handed weapon and decided I wanted to pvp or something Iwouldn't be able to use a shield or that Ican't find a good two hander that I'd be happy with, on top of that they all have very wide variations in stats.

I've been trying berserk, its kinda fun but i noticed that I have no armor when I used it, I might have to go back and look at guides about it..

you also cant leech with berserk because everything is converted to magic dmg. correct me if im wrong guys. Berserk is nice for PI's but no leech means lots of pots.

No, thats right but you can use other skills to leech if nessary 1 point con works well, Imnot sure what 20 points of berserk would bring with a syngery noticing the lack of syngeries but both syns add +10% damage, I think it would certainly be a unique build, you wouldn't be limited to just weapon IAS like with WW though that would give you more freedom in runewords and weapons that lack IAS
