best 2 hand mace for pvp

which mace is best for pvp purposes i know its only range 3 max but curious as to whether ik maul with set worked best 2 baranars stars or what? considering this is for a no shield type barb

The Ik mual w/ set is a varibale weapon, but id have to say the best mace class wep would be either a ebotd thunder mual or dual stormlashes. Dual eth banard's wouldnt be too bad i guess.

Well unfortunately Ogre and Thunder mauls are too slow even with 60%ias from BOTD to hit the max WW breakpoint. The unique ogre maul, Windhammer I believe it's called, with an ed/ias jewel or shael will hit the breakpoint but isn't an amazing pvp weapon. Of coarse IK maul with 30% or more extra ias will hit the breakpoint too.

To put it simply: 2 handed maces are no PvP weapons, at least not for Barbarians. IK mauls does _way_ too low damage to be effective in PvP, and the more damaging choices are too slow.

As for maces, I would personally go with scepters, maybe an ethereal Zod+40/15 Heaven's Light or 40/15'd Astreon's.

The Heaven's Light I put here, if it was perfect, it would deal about 303 average damage. As for the Astreon's, It would do 257 average damage if it was perfect. Both of these hit the last ww ias breakpoint.
