Is this spear worth keeping/using?

I found a Superior Matriarchal Spear with +3 Jav/Spear skill and 6 sockets.

I haven't played since 1.09 and don't know all the new rune words yet so I'm not sure if this is worth hanging onto.

Silence is more of a Bow runeword. While it can be used to good effect on a Spearazon, you have to get a Spearazon optimized for it. If the Silence runes grew on trees, I'd make a Silence in that just for the heck of it, but since they're as rare as they are, there's not much you can do with that spear, runeword-wise. Doesn't mean it's useless- Stuff it full of Shaels and Eths, and it'd make a top-notch Lightning Spearazon or CB Jabbazon stick.
