so i was given a 4os GMB +2 bow. i already have a near perfect faith so i am considering making an ICE bow, ive heard they are all that and a bag of chips.

my question is... how do i calculate how much IAS i need to reach the fastest attack with a GMB bow? and how much would i need if i made it in a mat bow?

for those who own ice bows... what do you recommend that i make it in? thanks for the advice.

147 IAS - 8 FPA
292 IAS - 7 FPA

Mat [-10]
75 IAS - 8 FPA
142 IAS - 7 FPA

Mat straight up - there is absolutely no reason to put it in a GMB since the damage comes from the skill not the base of the bow. And that bow is bloody slow. If you want a merc bow find a -10 bow, non zon-only.

Mind you if you wanted to put a Faith on the merc, you can use either.

Yeah but then you're crippling your elemental damage by not slapping an infinity on your merc.
