View Full Version : Best PvP Zealot equipment?

Can anyone tell me their idea of the best PvP Zealot equip.? I know there isn't a "best" 'cause they all have their strengths and weaknesses, i'm just trying to find out what I want to use, and what works well for you guys.

yeah i've looked at it, i even have it bookmarked, but i was just wondering in other duelers' experiences, which weapons/armors/shields they've liked best, because i'm kind of debating SS vs. HoZ(no exile, i don't like BM), Grief vs. EBotDZ vs. Death vs. Famine vs. Rare vs. E D Cleaver, yada yada yada. as well as Fort vs. Stone vs. Prudence, blah blah blah. I'm just wondering.

IMO, SS > HoZ, your zealot doesn't need high resists if he is only facing Melee Characters. The DR% from SS will free up alot of gear slots depending on what other gear you're thinking of using. I'm a big fan of EBotD, although I haven't tried all the new ladder-runewords. I've tried Grief PB but the range wasn't too amazing vs. WW Barbs and I hate repairing. A High Defense Eth Prudence is by far my number one pick out of Fort, Stone and Prudence. Many other armors shuold be considered such as Eth Zod Gladiator's Bane or Eth Zod Arkaine's (which I use).

That's my 2 pennies.

I prefer the ethereal upgraded Shaftstop and Alma Negra option.

really, stout? an eth upgraded shaft is a beast, but alma negra? i figured SS>it due to the DR and other stuff...but i guess it does give ed/ar, and some other good mods...hmmm anyone happen to know how much a good alma negra costs East SCL?
Also stout, which weapon would you suggest I use? i'm torn between ebotdz,e death, EDC, and a good rare if I can find one

Alma Negra should be cheap, despite the realm.
REALLY good rares are worth loads. And some more. And your arms and legs.
If I were to build a zealot, I'd use Grief BA and as high DS as I can get (hlords, gores, maybe gface)
