i have read ash's guide and it is very good. i have been playing frenzy barbs since abou 1.08 and i love them... my frenzy barb is my keyhunter / uber and my question is which two weapon combo's would work best for keyhunting/ubering...
beast/lw
ebotd/lw
grief/lw
beast/grief

i have all three zerk axes and tried all 3 out.. and i cant really tell much difference... i seem to do very insane quick damage with beast/grief... ebotd/lw seems about the same as grief/lw.. with no leech, but ITD. I'm just not sure about which combo to use so... any opinions or further info on the problem would be great. thanks!

Agreed. I personally would not use LW though, since most mods are pretty much useless.

I have no problems using Beast+Grief.

Beast/Death is my favorite by far. Beast/Grief will work but I would miss Death's 50% crushing blow, 45% deadly strike (if you are level 90), mana leech, and indestructible mod too much.

why do you not like last wish... it has 60-70% crushing blow, the lvl 17 might more than doubles your damage, fade adds massive resists*although i dont need them..*, 10% to cast life tap.. and dont forget ITD.... i think LW > death.. combined with ebotd or grief....

Beast/Doom

Beast/doom is pretty good with a might merc. Although, if you have that much cash to spend, i would go with the lw/death depending on other gear.

Honestly, I'd like to try a estormlash + estormlash w/might/concentrate merc, that would be pretty insane for ubers in my opinion. As for your situation, I've honestly never used LW, so I'd go with Death+Beast. Beast always pwns for frenzy and the damage and stats of a eth death zerker just seems to irresistable to me.

Crushing blow only gets you so far and Death has Deadly Strike and much better weapon damage from being ethereal. Might does not more then double your damage or even close to do that. Fade can be easily achieved with a Treachery prebuff. Life Tap from Dracs of coarse. ITD does not work on bosses, but Death adds 20% AR bonus and +50 AR which does help hit bosses and has mana leech.
