Well its not so much happened to me, but my lil cuzin....

cple days ago he was helping his brother getting a Dkey,, so he logged off, and about idk..........3-4hrs later he logged on and.........BLANK, all his chars are gone, we tried it on more than one computer....(Lots of my family play this game, its ind of cool actually) and no chars, so he restarted in all, but i want to find out wwhat happened, b/c he bought some pcombats and other items with some leftover money he had and he didnt deserve this, He says his PW could only be somehting he knew nobody else, and has never told anyone...any suggestions?

is he logging in on the right realm? if so it sounds like he fell for one of the countless scams on bnet...you can also lose your account by downloading 3rd party prgrams...they sometimes have a keylogger with them...what diablo related sites has he visited?

Does his brother know the password? Did the person he bought charms from ask for his password? Did you use any maphacks, third party programs, or visit any websites where you asked to create an account with a password? Are you sure you logged on to the correct realm?

ask him...if he spent the time to google an item sell site he probably found a couple other sites for downloading diablo hacks....if he lost one account already he may lose the next one he makes...he should scan his system for trojans/keyloggers.

ne wayz, my friend gave him 10 hrs to get gear for his hammerdin he was rebuilding and he 4got his Password :laugh:
