playing Diablo without cd?

hello, I was wondering is there any chance I could play Diablo without using cd, I think I have other things to spend my money on than new cd's and new cd-rom's

If you physically have the CD and just don't feel like putting it in every time you want to play, you can get a program like Alcohol 120% and create an image of the CD.

I would be very careful about making suggestions like this, I imagine this is pretty close to toeing the line on 3rd party programs.

Koeraokse - In case you haven't, you may want to read the rules (http://forums.diabloii.net/rules/). I can understand where you're coming from, in a way, but asking for help on things like this can be construed as asking for help on 3rd party programs, which is prohibited here.

I don't see this beeing even near violating the rules.

I've been using "Virtual CD" for a good number of years now.
It's basically the same as alcohol120, daemon etc.
Just create an image file of your cd slap it in a virtual drive and you're good to go.

One thing though, you may want to go to their forum for support.

I don't see this beeing even near violating the rules.In the community forum, mods have stepped in and shut down these topics. They do seem to get by sometimes in other forums though.

It does violate the EULA, and therefore the forum rules as well, so it's not allowed.
