Quick question, what is a Gmerc?

It's a "glitch" merc. There is a lot of information on this in multiple forums, but I'll give the basics. It involves a bug that stacks auras when un-equipping and re-equipping aura granting runeword items like HoJ and Dream. If you have the funds and the patience, taking equipment on/off lots of times before you head out of town will result in a merc that can basically slay monsters almost instantly without ever getting near them.
