Uber smiter : Wut dmg can be decent?

Is 1.9k smite dmg can kill uber fast if i have 115% cb? I was doing 2.4k with my upd hoz but just swap for an eth royal exil. Will i still kill those uberz faster (last time with hoz was about 20-30sec. each) ?
Main question is : Is dmg really mather in ubering?

Damage matters, but that's only because you need enough damage to leech. As for killing the ubers themselves? Damage matters, slightly.

damage is only for killing them when they have a sliver of life left, crushing blow is way more important (open wounds helps too)

Over 100% cb is pointless.
Dmg matters for the killing blow and needs to be high enuf so that lifetap gives you enuf life. I got by with like 500.

Damage matters more for the lifetap and thus keeping you alive.
But it isn't so important for getting the ubers dead.

Over 100% CB is excessive though, you won't ever need that much. Most ubersmiters live with like 50%+.

Get an exile only if you're having some problems surviving, and if you can get the resistances from your HoZ, elsewhere. The increased chance of Life Tap from an Exile (assuming you're already using Dracs or Life Tap charges) will help you stay alive more, but if you're happy with the LT casting as it is, stick with the HoZ.

You guys have told me some great tips, but none of you answered my main question : between 1.9k dmg and 2.4k dmg (if i cant reach 300 all resists without my hoz), will i see a big difference when i'll do some ubers (harder to kill at the end? will still be able to kill and just be like 10second longer?) ?

Oh, they did. Both 1.9k dmg and 2.4k dmg is already way more than enough to kill them at the end, so no, you will not see much of a difference.
