After giving Diablo a break for a couple of years I decided it was time to finally beat the game (the furthest i had gone before was act1 hell with a frenzy barb). As a result of hours and hours of play (a few broken mice and increased chances of arthritis) I finally have a fury wolf patriarch.

Current lvl: 87

Duriel's Shell (188% ed) socketed with "Um"
Rare Light Gauntlets (L Res +20%, P Res +25%, 12% MF, 10% IAS)<--don't know why i used those when I think about it...:shocked:

Congrats.

Might you be able to say a little bit more about your wolfie, though? What is the rest of his gear, his damage, was he a fun build, any difficulties, etc?

IK boots (for 211-397 fire damage on the maul)
String of Ears (15%DR, 6%LL)
Rare Amulet (+25 Life, F Res 30%, L Res 34%, C Res 17%, P Length Reduced 75%)
Bul-Kathos ring (5%LL)
Rare ring (6%LL, 92AR, and some other insignificant stuff)
and a whole lot of +life and res charms

Switch:
Fleshrender and Tiamat's Rebuke

Merc:

Act 3 cold sorcerer with: Culwen's, Skin of the Vipermagi, Wall of the Eyeless and rare circlet (20%FCR, 11 res all (exept L 47))


Not a perfect fury wolf set up, I know, but with around 5k life, 3k dmg and 106%LL put together with the cold merc there was no stopping me (execept for the PI,CI which spawned a bit too often for my taste and went down painfully slow...) All these stats will hopefully be improved when i mf some more

To sum up, very fun build to play and I'm extremely happy that for once (almost) everything worked out as I wanted:jig:

Well done! It's a really nice thing to beat the game on v.1.10+, as Hell can be very very difficult. Esp. for a melee char. Good job!

No idea with older versions but in 1.11 it doesn't vary.

I have 5 IK mauls and all of them have 40%CB.

Looks like you got lucky then, there's a 1 in 6 chance of 40% CB, pretty good odds imo, compared to some of the ranges of variables available on other sets/uniques.

Edit: Btw, congrats on the Pat! :thumbsup:

Congrats on the pat. I'm still working on my fury wolf, and it's nice to see that IK maul is a possible endgame weapon with loading up on the set.

I have 5 ranging from 36% to 37% CB <_<.
