View Full Version : Windowed or Full?

For dueling, what do you guys prefer? I got used to window, but i'm thinking of increasing my mouse sensitivity a bit, and going back to full mode, for obvious reasons. (Minimizing.. etc)

I find the accidental minimizing annoying. Plus my computer gets crap fps with windowed

on the topic of window mode.

anyone know how to change the size of the window mode? Cause my window is nearly the same size as full mode which is kinda useless.

I remember I put something after -w in the target place.

@RetroStar - it depends on what resolution you work on your monitor.
If you use 800:600 by default, window mode in that resolution will take allmost all your screen anyway.

I play windowed, and I rarely click outside the window :F

Full, i can't stand windowed. The gamma's incredibly low, and it won't lemme change it on windowed.

I think there is a command to adjust gamma in window mode.
If I manage to find it, I'll post here.
All i remember is that you put it in the string (same as -w -skiptobnet)

the gamma is annoying.
but i use windows because i'm used to it. Damn slow laptops lol. it alleviates lag from my experience.

its not possible to minimize d2 when in windowed mode with -nohide.

edit: oops looks like it only works with d2loader.

Im running 1280x960 Resolution, so windowed mode is so small that I have a hard time reading the text. :(

window ftw

When I'm on a ww barb, I prefer full screen.

To change the gamma, go to non-window, max the brightness, then go back to window'd. It keeps the settings. At least it did for me. ><

Hmm I guess I'm an uber noob for not trying to know this, but after years of playing D2 I do not know how to convert from full to window.

Last month my keyboard died out, so I was using on screen keyboard. Turns out can't use it in full mode, and couldn't type account / pass.

So... how do you get it to window?

Add -w to the end of the target line in the properties of your d2 shortcut.
