Question on Warrior-Monk

I'm rebuilding my Warrior-Monk to use against the ubers this time around. I have all the gear I need except for possibly a phoenix shield. What I'm wondering is: Is it needed for ubers? Or can I get by with my Stormshield.
If a phoenix is required then should I still go for max block? That's going to cost a lot more to max than a SS, obviously leaving me less vitality.

i would say go with the stormshield. it has good blocking as well as cold/light res, which help against mephisto's cold ball thing and his charged bolts. also, imo a phoenix wouldnt be adding enough damage to make it worth sacrificing the blocking or life you would lose to make up for blocking.
